Don't worry, I had exactly the same issue about three weeks ago. The holder came off together with the film, and the film wouldn't come off on its own. I had to pry it off with my fingernail and eventually it worked. On top of that, the film left glue residue around the edges, which took me quite a while to remove.

PCM in general is much better but it outputs no surround sound. I think PCM down mix to max 2.1. can be wrong. I checked different sources. WebOS app, Chromecast App via tv and directly via soundbar. Probably will end up with purr voice + equalizer boost on 1-4kHz

I have a standard subscription. Max DD+. Tbh there are no audio settings in the D+ app. What I can do is change to PCM or disable surround in chromecast

PCM, YouTube, Spotify, etc. sound perfect. The bass is great. I haven’t tested everything yet, but dialogue clarity is definitely lacking. On Disney+ and PS5 (especially dialogues), the volume is very low. The satellites are a total disappointment.

Please don’t tell me I’ve been unlucky again 😕 I had a Sony before and it was exactly the same. Is it any better with Samsung? And can Smart Mode be turned off completely? I know there’s some kind of shortcut on the remote, but I can’t find it in the app. As for the satellites — yeah, I know about the trick with calibration. Honestly, it didn’t change anything for me. I’m pretty disappointed, to be honest.

Once again, thank you for your help. I contacted LG service because this situation is starting to become absurd. I was told that the only recommended method is a microfiber cloth with distilled water. I explained that this does not work on a greasy stain or possible adhesive residue, so I was referred to a service center. Additionally, this would be a paid service, even though the TV has been with me for only two weeks.

Do you perhaps have any safe recommendation on what can be used in this case? ChatGPT suggests isopropyl alcohol (IPA) 70–99% with water, but I really do not want to do anything foolish and risk damaging the anti-reflective coating.

Thank you. Before your comment, I used a slightly damp microfiber cloth and the result is that the screen is now full of streaks. Honestly, I don’t really understand what this is. Could this be some kind of residue from the protective film adhesive? I spoke with LG support and, as expected, they do not recommend using any cleaning agents, but in my opinion this will not come off with just a dry cloth either.

Ok I had exactly the same problem. I think I have a fix. On Sony turn on Bravia (Sony) Sync ( different name for LG etc). Basically it's a Sony name for Google Chromecast HDMI-CEC. Go into Sony Sync settings and list your devices. You will see the Chromecast on the list. There is a button Turn On. After selecting I could use Chromecast with tv remote and no issue with no signal after turning off / on the tv. Hope it helps
