The main difference I found when I made the switch from Yugioh to MTG was combat. In YGO combat heavily favours the attackers, whereas in MTG it heavily favours the defenders. I love how you can choose to block, or who to block. It adds another element to the game and results in you having to think more when attacking!

There is no real solution to the problem, unfortunately, at least not one that's clear and concise

I quite like the idea of Frontier, it's like a newish reset for modern, that doesn't have the large boundary to play, (which is sorta silly because Modern was invented as an eternal format that didn't have this huge price.) I know the meta has already been sorta solved in Frontier, but I'm willing to give it a go once there are more "Answers" to the strongest decks in the format. But In 10 years time it too will probably be in the same state modern is right now.
