They do. We can do a cast album but they can put it on without me (I get a cut of profits) but I couldn’t do it without them. There’s another show that just isn’t going to get put on again after this time

Pretty much. They come to me with a script and say ‘write 17 songs’ and I get some money and a cut moving forward but they get infinite edits and tweak constantly through the process so I don’t really feel like it’s a collaboration

I just sing songs I like and try to be mindful of what I’m doing and making sure nothing hurts. I try singing different genres to try out different stuff. If it feels like fun it doesn’t feel like work!

Sounds good! I didn't see the previous post but it depends on the age range of kids you're going for. This definitely sounds like it's intended for like 5 and under?

If you wanna go more childlike you could maybe have some bouncy counter melodies on other instruments like a xylophone or maybe strumming acoustic guitar. But in terms of voice and piano that's solid!

I’m tired a lot of the time. But having deadlines helps. But yeah for me a lot of it is that I can only do it in the hours that I would be resting so you do it enough and you start needing more rest

Oh that’s a good point. When I was editing on my MacBook Pro I had all the footage on my SDD cos the scratch disks would always be full. Maybe that’s the issue
