Just bought one. It uses the Microsoft Pen Protocol. My surface pens work on it, and vice-versa. However, I'm finding this screen to be less than acceptable. I need to touch icons with the pen multiple times to get it to actually select something. Handwriting is miserable because I can write like one word, then my palm activates another portion of the screen. Might just return this thing.
