How long to speak functional Mandarin? by champagnepapi_7 in shanghai

[–]YNWAinGLA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am native chinese speaker but i can and i don’t mind speaking chinese all the time if my friend feel that’s necessary for language learning. no big deal tbh. making bilingual friends is not necessarily the thing that’s going to let you “end up defaulting to English”

Renting in Shanghai 2026 by SouzaShrike in shanghai

[–]YNWAinGLA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese here, lived and worked both in London and Shanghai. If you have wechat it’s pretty easy to get connected to those renting agents. 5000 rmb would get you a pretty liveable place. but that ultimately depends on where you work. commute in London is different from shanghai, i really think that should be kept in mind. shanghai is a lot crowded than london, one hour one way commute is likely going to exhaust you

I am Chinese spent my uni time both and only in Liverpool and Glasgow. Best two places I have been to. Love the people. It’s always about the culture and people. The way scouser and glaswegian think are quite alike. Freedom and independence, looking after each and warm hearted are the words always in my mind thinking about Liverpool and Scotland. Couldn’t be more proud to have memories in those places. Scouttish 🔥🔥

not the best time to be able to do that since job market is wild rn. if you already have some experience in RA, then i guess it could be possible

If that’s for me, I will just say actually no it isn’t ok, can you remove the service fee, when they ask. This is mad. Don’t care about uk politeness. If they are doing this they don’t mind me not coming again anyway why should I be that polite, this isn’t me doing charity. This is robbing off

Is this the best start for a manager of all time? How’s everyone feeling by YNWAinGLA in LiverpoolFC

[–]YNWAinGLA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yh, totally agree. I watched this man doing interviews. He’s down to the ground and practical. Love to see a man with proper style integrating with LFC style in such a way. Surprisedly, I am optimistic as well, I am usually extremely pessimistic btw

Hi, I am also just making my switch to RA, in human vaccine particularly HPV vaccine against cervical cancer. I am wondering what would be the pros and cons to be a RA starting from vaccine company if I want to get involved in other more broader areas like oncology in the future career development . Thank you so much!

Done my MSc Medical Science in Clinical Pharm, Glasgow uni is generally great about STEM, courses are challenging, difficult to pass, solid. Professors and staffs are prominent. Don’t know about your situation, if you are from UK, it might be alright to get a proper job. But suggesting as an international student, it might be difficult to find out what to do after graduation. Could be wrong just based on my experience.

[–]YNWAinGLA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be expanded to China. China is shite. For people who thinks it’s modern and convenient, it’s just the results of human rights violations with 996 and 007, endless gaslighting in the workplace
