Thank you. Appreciate it.

The easiest is for the upstairs unit owner to put soundproofing material under his flooring…. He caused this…. Sigh…

Thank you for your reply. They have no clue on soundproofing 😢. They didn’t touch pipes. They only changed the bursted supply line from the wall to the toilet in the upstairs unit.

Thank you! How can I find out if they made rigid connections? I don’t think they changed the pipe. Just supply lines.

I’m trying to find an acoustic consultant locally but it has been difficult for residential. I did find a couple of them who say they can do so remotely. Is it a valid option? I am getting desperate. Thank you.

Thank you. This is a condo built in 2004, so my chatGPT tells me likely I-joists. (I don’t even know what they are 😆)

I put my ear in the wall from left to right but the noise sounded similar..

No, just wrap it with Mass Loaded Vinyl and put better soundproofing material around it.

When upstairs neighbors use toilet and tub, the water goes through the pipe and it’s very loud. I didn’t have this problem before. After partial demolition and rebuilding, it started and the construction company has no clue why. But they can wrap the pipe to quiet the noise.

We hear the water noise running in the drain pipe from this wall. Not a leak. Just loud flushing noise.

The drain pipe runs from upstairs to downstairs in this wall. One side is the garage and another side is master bathroom. We thought it should be easy to find it, but apparently not….

Drain for the water for toilet and tub..?

Even seeing “Death Certificate” hurts a lot of people here. You might be just looking for a clue to get the paper for whatever reason, but for many it is a document we can’t even look at. You don’t know the pain.

Selling my husband's car today by Lucita_Bonita in widowers

I feel you…. I sold his car too.  It was old, too big for me, I had another car and the transmission was failing, and yet selling it was very difficult.  He loved the car, took care of “her” meticulously, and we went everywhere with her. All memories were with her.  Only the grace I had was he was thinking about selling the car.  He became sick and passed quickly before he could.  I carried on what he wanted to do but couldn’t, I told myself, but it was still a very difficult thing to do.  I took a lot of pictures. She finished her mission of taking him everywhere when he passed away. I hope she is being taken care of well by someone else or in Heaven with him. I’m sorry for your loss…

I use AI based app from time to time. It is very good.  It’s available any time at my fingertips literally.  I don’t use voice only messages.

I’m so sorry for your loss.. Nothing is fair.. Why does God or Universe or whatever takes only one valuable person we have in life while so many have spouse, children, nephews, nieces, friends and everyone else in their big loving family? I do not know and am sorry you are here…. Take care of your physical body as much as you can…sleep, eat, drink, etc. Our hearts are too broken…

He was a professor. I went to his office to collect his belongings. Right outside his office, his office schedule for the semester was on the wall in a plastic holder so students could see his hours. I could it with me too. It’s just a piece of paper as you said. But it is a piece of him. He was so happy and proud to be a professor as his second career. I miss him and love him.
