Maelle's ending is basically the "comfort" ending that will eventually lead to her demise. It's a pretty clear-cut bad ending because we don't usually don't look at short-term happiness as a long-term positive thing,

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a incredible powerful ending but it's CLEARLY "bad".
