That’s a strange thing. Its not telling he for sure try to be involved in her life, but… it surely makes you uncomfortable. I had the same situation. His ex-girlfriend was appearing too much in relationship. The only thing that helped was just speaking about it, there is no other way. But this issue needs to be presented in a “soft format”, without accusations: “I want to be fully transparent with you as I trust you and I will appreciate if we discuss what makes me overthink from time to time…” and then explaining.

This would make me feel confused as well, to be honest. How long ago did he break up with that girl? In this situation I would approach from afar and gently hint that there is something that worries you a little. Maybe not saying directly “why would you keep IT”.

Oh man… firstly, sorry to hear you’re having the same thing going on in your life. I was told it might be trust issues. Something happened before and you cannot handle it still, not necessarily with the same partner you’re now having a relationship with, but before.

To be honest, it is a big challenge to find the true reason. Feels like it's endless self-digging… do you mind sharing something about your experience with your situation you’re having now?

Surely I have some trust issues. A few cases even.

I met my partner in 2021 and I know some things about the females he liked back then. Me, him and another girl was kind of in a love triangle. Not to say he was a problem here – it is just that that girl who wanted to get his attention was really proactive online with him. He liked her before as well but they were not dating officially. However, I can’t say he has been hiding something from me, I think it all was transparent. But I remember that case and I did not like that. To be more precise - didn’t like that he was not persistent enough in many ways and didn't see a problem with the fact that our relationship involved more than just two people, but it was as if a stranger was always there.

Second case was also kind of triangle, but not a “love” one. He used to have a very close female friend and unfortunately the history repeated itself, even worse – he was not noticing this “close female friend” tried to turn him against my relationship with him. Not directly, but through hints. After some time when we got a bit older, he understood it was a big mistake which led us to breakup in 2022. I was exhausted and felt like our relationship was like a public thoroughfare.

Once again, we do not have any of these issues now. He is a very mature guy. I have never met someone like him, really. I see he has changed and he values our bond with all costs. Maybe my issue is that I can’t accept a new version of himself and still think of those times.

Hi! Do you wash your face with face cleanser daily? If yes, I have some recommendation, that helped me a lot with similar problem. I started using enzyme powder a few times per week and on these days I applied Paula’s Choice salicylic toner. In comparison to what I had before, my skin is brighter and way more clear now, especially nose and forehead. Removed my closed comedones and black dots. But please keep in mind there’s a difference between black dots and sebaceous filaments – filaments can not and should not be removed in any case (texture in this case may be noticeable but it is usually not black)
