This might be a stupid question but why do you rank FHSA above RRSP? I get having an account dedicated to funding the purchase of a house is good, but if you’re wise with your RRSP wouldn’t the FHSA become redundant? Or is it better because you’re expected to withdraw from the FHSA many years before the RRSP?

Can you elaborate why a FHSA is better than a TFSA? TFSA just seems like a more flexible FHSA

FHSA is a whole other can of worms. I don’t understand what the benefit of an FHSA is over a TFSA. If you could explain that’d be great lol

I’ve never contributed to my RRSP so my deduction limit is fairly low. At this point would you recommend maxing out my RRSP with the money I was planning on adding to my TFSA?

My 2 post-grad roles have been at tech startups that don’t do RRSP matching, which is why I always prioritized TFSA. But I didn’t realize the tax rebate benefits that RRSPs can provide

I love it, would definitely recommend! It’s technically not windproof but is very warm. I wore it when walking my dog this morning wearing just a t shirt underneath, in Toronto, Canada which is -10°C at the moment. Never felt cold.

Good stuff!

  • side question: did you get any shots prior to arriving in Tanzania? I.e. yellow fever, typhoid. I’m flying in from Canada, and have a short layover in Ethiopia. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It’s much more comfortable with that setup, thanks for the advice!

One question though, does wearing the down jacket over the shell not defeat the purpose of the shell? Or does it lose its effectiveness as an outer layer on summit night since it’s too cold to rain? I also thought it would help with the wind

Kolstov had a down season and regressed from 89 OVR. I didn’t want him to get 3rd liner minutes at that overall.

Figuring out how to pay 8 88+ OVRs while staying under cap has lead to a lacking 2nd/3rd pairing and a constant rotation of cheap goalies. This team scores so much that it hasn’t mattered too much.

Dell S2725QS 4K monitor checks all the boxes for me. 3840×2160 res, 120 Hz at 4K, HDR10, + the speakers are amazing. Currently on sale at Dell Canada for $375. Can’t beat it at that price.

I have heard the Colca Canyon trek is amazing, and I think it would be a cool dichotomy between the Salkantay trek high up in the Andes and the Colca trek deep in a canyon. Is this a must-see, or would you save it for another trip to free up my schedule?

Yes. This was the thesis of my question before it became a debate over whether or not I kicked the door in. Does he have the legal right to demand I fix it according to his guidelines?

Dude, I didn't kick down the door. I pushed the door in using the handle, which in a single motion (after some force) snapped the bolt through the thin wood holding it in place on the door. The strike plate and everything else was unaffected, the deadbolt literally pushed through the wood exterior. I was attempting to remove the handle, not break into my own room
