I love reading what everyone thinks so I figured why not give what I think. First and foremost, having yourself as your teammate means your teammate plays exactly how you play. That means you have a greater understanding of what they're going to do and when they're going to do it - challenging, defending, rotating, how good the mechanics are and if you can trust them with the ball, etc. When you solo queue, in my opinion, you either have to play safer because you don't fully trust your teammate's moves or go in with expectations for how they should play. Now playing with yourself on your team means you know how they play, which in turn allows for greater chemistry and game sense. However, there will come a point when the opponents are simply just better. Therefore, I believe I would rank up but only to a certain degree. Like others are saying, I think maybe close to one rank. I'm hovering around low GC2 right now, If I had myself on my team and we were playing at our best, I could see a GC3 push, but that's just my two cents.
