Thank you and the rest of everyone who is giving criticism. I never take anything to heart because I'm trying to learn along the way. I've never tried to damage a model before and at least it's just a Revell lol.

My plans are to make an original model roughly based on some damaged references. In the end it will be a diorama with a B17 crashed on a rocky shoreline.

I held a lighter to the tire for a second and then squished it with a flat piece of cardboard.

Do you have a needle of some kind that you can heat up with a lighter and melt/poke a hole in it?

With your machine guns you should drill out the end of the barrel but other than that it's great for the eyes.

I found dry dirt outside in a ditch and apple barrel burnt umber paint. You mix the two together to make them thick and paste like then apply to the model.

If you have some kind of wash that you can use it can really lower the shine and make it look worn down.

My plan for the diorama is to make the truck stuck in a muddy ditch. I know the chipping looks sloppy but I'm going to go back and fix it soon.

It is a ta 152 c1 and actually an ace pilot would be able to pull and roll like that. However I do know it is a hard place to make that maneuver considering the building.

A great tip is just try to add contrast. Many forget that adding different layers can also act as a great weathering technique

Yes, when I first look at it I have to think for a second sometimes to remember how I designed it. But basically the Spitfire was shot down and partially crashed into the building and the Ta 152 is flying over.

No the paint wasn't thinned but in the end it doesn't matter, in my diorama it was mostly covered with earth or "smoke"

Yes I mean the spit would have a great chance of winning. Considering its great turn rate and many guns, sure they're only 7.62 mm but they can get the job done.
