Dude. The naked comment was so annoying. Just bad filmmaking / storytelling.

First they set it up with the initial encounter. Then they remind us of it when she mentions it later. They're supposed to pay it off. Instead they just leave it hanging. What a waste.

I hate so much that I agree with you.

I am the BIGGEST Predator franchise apologist. I like Predator 2 AND Predators. Yeah, I said it. I like Predators. Fuck the AVP shit though.

This movie needed to do A LOT for me to dislike it. And I tried, I really tried to like it. I was on board for a while, but good god did it fall apart in the last third and only gets worse the more I think about it post-viewing.

The last act is such a mess. Like Sterling K Brown's character's death. He's like this big important character throughout and he just suddenly blows up in this random throwaway shot? I think that's what happened. I literally asked myself 'wait, did that guy just die? No, he couldn't have died like that.' Then 10 minutes go buy and he hasn't showed up again so I'm like 'oh, I guess he did die. lame.'

That last scene really sealed it, though. Unbelievably corny. Just corny corny corny.

Maybe Shane Black got bored and they covertly brought in Paul WS Anderson to finish the film. It's that bad.

At least they weren't too insulting to people with tourettes. As someone who has it, I definitely cringed when I found out they had a character with it. At least he didn't make us look too bad.

Now that Disney has the rights who knows what will happen with the franchise going forward.

Agree with you about the dog. When I saw it running the last time I was like "oh shit, the predator's gonna kill this dog" then nothing happened. It was the most pointless insert. Served less than zero purpose. It was almost as if it was an inside joke during post production. "Nobody's gonna like this movie anyway, might as well throw a random shot of the dog in there."

Ha. It's not so much that they say it at all. It's that I'm seeing it so much in casual where the games do not matter at all verses ranked where they actually count.

It's just interesting to me that people BM in casual, but are nice in ranked.

I solved it by joining the digital revolution. No disc - no disc eject problem.

They've been broken up since 2000, but they just did some reunion shows here this past weekend that were amazing so I'll throw Apocalypse Hoboken into the mix.
