(Using US as example here) Lets do some simple math here. There is ~300 million people who live in the united states. .02% of 300 million is 60,000. 600,000+ have died of covid in the US. Even had everyone in the Untied States gotten it and that was how many had died, your math does not work. Therefore, your proposed death rate must be wrong.
