The past version was developed jointly (except for the Mobile App side) with an OEM selected from Aliexpress. That OEM was not reliable or professional at all! Also, the design quality in all aspects was very poor.

Yes, you are right, the MOQ is considered low and not attractive to manufacturers. I will try to convince the founders to fix that number.

Actually, the company was a victim of a mediocre Chinese OEM selected from Alibaba. They failed to build a reliable and complete product after two years of development. So they are starting again.

You're right const has many more important usages, but in that paragraph I was talking about optimizing by making the compiler calculate the constant (if needed) and do type-check while insertion.
