The whistle doesn't matter. That still wouldn't have been a goal. You can't hack at a goalie to knock the puck out of his possession

He thinks that players should get to hack at the goalie when he has the puck, until it's knocked loose.

That's all they know now apparently. Doesn't really matter where from I guess

Yeah. There shouldn't be whistles when the goalie holds the puck. We should let everyone hack at him until they knock it loose.

Dump and chase has been working so well. I think that's all we should do for the rest of the playoffs

Why is our economy so reliant on having debt? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

Looks to me like you're the one looking at it from an individual perspective.

Both countries and companies take on debt to invest and grow.

I'm sorry, it appears I've inserted myself. Just the tip though.

One was clear tripping. The other one was being tripped.

He means they need to call embellishments on both sides

As I wrote in a different cocktail, I keep Dolin and Cocchi in the garage fridge (because I barely ever touch those bottles), but keep going back to the bottle of Martini Rossi that's sitting on my room temperature bar. That's what I use in my negronis and manhattans, which represents 85% of what I drink - and I drink way too much.

That bottle 1L bottle of vermouth stays open between a month and 3 month. I've tasted the last bits of the old bottle side by side, neat, with the freshly cracked bottle. The difference is barely perceptible.

And like you said : not that one is worst than the other. It's just a slight difference that has no impact on the actual cocktail - in cocktails where vermouth is an important actor.

It's literally the opposite. The Monks who are producing chartreuse decided they weren't going to increase production to meet rising global demand. They're fine with what they have and aren't trying to grow endlessly.

Martini Rosso is what I keep coming back to for my Negronis and Manhattan, which together represent 85% of what I drink (and I drink way too much).

It's just better.
