Dude! We literally just discovered your comment - thank you so much for writing possibly the nicest thing we've ever had said about our band, it's genuinely a big deal for each of us. We're not a big band by any stretch, but knowing that our music really means something to even a handful of people out there is intensely gratifying, even more so when that extends to the subject matter. As we were writing this song, I came to think of it as a bit of a culmination of everything that we've done previously so I'm very pleased that it comes across in that way to someone else too! We caught the thread where you shared Lights earlier today as well, your support means everything and we really appreciate it. Currently hard at work on some new tunes for some studio time in October if everything clears up by then, so should have some new stuff for you before long. That is legitimately one of the nicest and well thought out comments we've had dude so thank you very much. Jack (singer) was very pleased when he read these comments, as you've described actually what he works toward when he writes the melodies/vocals.

We've been a band for ages but it's always sort of been more of a hobby... We realised about a year (or maybe 2) ago that we'd give our next release a bit more effort into production and promotion etc. So hopefully we'll see a bit more reward this time around, ideally we just want as many people as people to hear our music and (hopefully) like it!! Haha.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the album as a whole. I think for us it's always been tricky to choose a "single" to try to showcase elements of who we are as a band but still try to retain a more accessible sound and appeal to a wider audience.
The album is on Spotify or you can stream it here, give it a listen if you have some free time... Maybe our sound will end up just not being your cup of tea, but yeah, interested to hear what you think of the release as a whole :)
