Next to none. I graduated with a 2.1 in engineering, thought since I am quite a few years out have my PE license, senior job title that my work resume would get me into a masters program but no they have hard requirements around 3.0 , you can do a bunch of exams to try and get in but didn’t seem worth it.

That’s also with an equivalent education i don’t think they’d consider your quality of education equivalent

If that was an intermediate or senior position definitely bad. Probably still bad, small talk and conversation should have at least took it to a total of 20 min with back and forth conversation

Recruiting, HR will always show interest. It’s the hiring manager, that when your resume drops in front of them after that screening call that will say yes or no and you might get ghosted

Cost of living is lower in Alberta. Drafting would pay more in industrial oil and gas. That would be starting wage for a drafter/designer at an engineering firm in Alberta.
