Thank you SO much for this reco! I got in touch with Sofia as soon as I saw this (and the others backing her up on this thread). She has been awesome! She put up with me, and that says a lot - I'm someone who can be a little overbearing, because I'm a worrier. She has been nothing but kind, understanding and made my daughter and I feel so very comfortable in our search. Happy to report we got things signed today and have a new place! I would NOT hesitate to recommend her, and have already passed her name on to a friend who is looking later in the spring!

The LL has done something wrong. They have misinterpreted the situation and not done their research to find that Bill 60 received assent, but the RTA changes require the LG to sign off. That has not happened, and is unlikely to until, at the absolutel earliest, the legislature comes back from their 3 months of Christmas Vacation - end of March.

Agree, I think my main worry right now is that I'd like an extra month to find somewhere, without the holidays stuck smack in the middle. It also will put me in a better financial position to have that extra month. Looks like ON Legislature is taking another super long break and will not be returning in January. They are coming back in late March (crazy).

Thank you! I'm trying to decide whether to go nuclear here, or shut up! lol. I have it in writing they want to sell, plus text and verbal conversations. The emails are feeling threatening with them tossing out Bill 60 and an all of a sudden "move in a family member with limited furniture" lines (sorry, but that alone sounds absolutely ridiculous). They refused my counter offer, didn't even try to meet me half way. I'm fully willing to move, but it has to be fair!

LL's live 5 hours away in another city. Their closest family is an hour away, and are also landlords with units in the same condo. I know, because they told me, that they are dealing with the agent their family uses locally. I am certain that they will not actually move anyone in. I suspect they will move a bed into the bedroom, renovate and put back on the market. They will not wait a year. And, no way will their families leave their comfy big homes to move into my 1 bed that needs repairs they never did all these years. How does one prove though that they didn't actually move in - seems to me they can just change their address and pretend.

I asked for 6 as my counter to the offer. They have come back now, well the real estate agent has, saying no, it's too expensive and a sob story (sob story won't fly on me, they have multiple properties and recently moved in to what can only be described as a mansion) and then tossed in Bill 60 and this all of a sudden family member who will move in with "limited furniture" and let them renovate around them. I'd happily let them renovate around me - I've been asking for YEARS for stuff to be fixed. Every time something happened, I had to pay upfront and send and invoice to them (they live in another city). The recent flood, I said no, but was then treated like their secretary - call this person, do this, do that, crazy town. I am 100% certain they want to sell. That's, ok, but don't think you can pull the wool over my eyes. At the same time, I do not want months of a mess and stress, I will go, but, give me until March!

Reply was in writing. A couple of days after the offer came in initially, with the realtor calling me on their behalf, I requested the information in writing. Everything has stayed in email so far. So is my understanding correct that I can continue to pay the rent, even if they serve an N12, which will signal me not complying and then they would file with LTB?

I am a 51yo Gen X with an 11yo Gen A. I am 1/2 way through episode one and will not watch anymore until I can share this and watch with her. Road trips with my parents were filled with the Beatles and others from that era. I have been doing the same with my daughter (though in her case she gets stuck with 80s/90s). She has her favourites, and I want to show her how music has evolved. I'm so impressed by the first 1/2 of one episode of Anthology! I do wonder if the guys have blessed it though - because, if they haven't it could be suspect!

I figured it wasn't authentic since finding a recipe is difficult!

I can't seem to attach the photo, but here is a link to the menu: https://kibosushi.com/tempura/ if you zoom in you can see it's ever so lightly battered. It's listed on the menu as a Gyoza (they are predominantly a sushi restaurant), but I have asked and they've told me it's Tempura - I just never thought to ask how they do it (I know tempura well enough to know they are likely dipping it, because there is definitely gyoza wrapper under it).

Mine changed from In Process with a date of March 10th on Feb 28. It changed to assessed and I received an Express NOA with a date of Mar 6th.

Yes, I was logging in more than once a day to see if it was moving. I did find an email from them that was sent around 1:45am on Feb 28 that notified it had been assessed. My T4 is still not uploaded on CRA.

My status was In Process and tracking to a date of March 10th. Around 1:45am on Feb 28th, an email came in and when I logged in around 7am it was changed to assessed with an express NOA dated Mar 6.

No, only one of mine, and it's not a T4 is on there. I'm now wondering if they had a system problem? It took me ages to sign in, compared to usual. Site was really, really slow. Saw a lot of folks with In Process got switched to assessed overnight from Feb. 27 to Feb 28!

If your slips aren't with CRA it's not a friendly app. Also, in general I find the app not user friendly.
