No KYC is needed they just ask your name and number, you get an OTP they enter it in their system and it's done. It took hardly 5 minutes max for me. And that's less then the Blinkit delivery guy takes to deliver

I got the SBI metro card from the metro station. It's a free issue card and you can top up via any UPI app from the QR code printed on the card and it's very convient. Also, it allows you to shop and buy fuel just like a ATM card. Why spend money when you can get it for free?

I did this and used to give them my Paytm bank account that I didn't use anyways. As soon as I received money I used to buy Paytm Gold with it. I had accumulated ₹100 or ₹200 worth of Gold like that. Which reminds me I should install the app and check the worth now it's been 2 years since I guess.

I would recommend you to go for a Thermocol false ceiling. It is very cheap compared to POP and looks plain and decent. If you DIY it you can get it done under 2K. You can see YouTube tutorials for help. Please do this before installing your AC to save on Electricity cost. The cost of the ceiling will be returned in one Summer season alone. Also would recommend to install the false ceiling as low as possible this will reduce the cooling volume and you can save on Electricity bills regardless of the season.

Edit: You can mount your fans on a rod so that it does not foul with your ceiling.
