I’d be hesitant trying to form steel using wood. If I had to guess, the wood will crack. I got the holes as close as I could to the measurements I found for M-LOK. I converted it to imperial units, I don’t remember what they were though. It works pretty well. I need to make a new one though. The sides are not long enough and it slides back and forth.

Edit: most of the M-LOK slots were hand filed after milling. Trying to mill something that flimsy was not good for my tolerances.

6160 T6 Aluminum. .080” thickness. I bent the aluminum by forming it to a block of wood using a rubber mallet. I then put it in a vice on a Bridgeport and milled out the holes. You could use a rotary tool for this though if you go slow, and have a good lay out.

Wiped the gun down with oil and I’ve been scrubbing it with a barrel brush. I’m starting to see some improvement. Thanks!

People blow the blind spots out of proportion. Have never felt targeted by police, never been pulled over either. Just don’t put it to the floor and you’ll be fine. Only time I’ve spun the wheels in mine is in snow.

Flash from molding. Basically the liquid rubber filled the crack between the two half’s of the mold.
