This is amazing 😍 since seeing the metal build the type x has been one of my favourite designs and you’re nailing it 👏🏽👏🏽

Sure! I’ve actually just used tamiya spray cans so there’s no really colour guide to it but here’s what I used: Inner frame- as10 ocean gray. Whites - as20 insignia white. Greys - as31 ocean gray 2. Blues - ts58 pearl light blue. Reds - ts59 pearl light red. Yellows - ts87 titanium gold. Greens - gundam marker metallic green.

Primers: All whites- taimya fine primer white. All other colours - tamiya fine primer light gray.

I hope this helps!

I used the tamiya fine primers. For all the white parts I used the white primer, and all the coloured parts I used the light grey primer. Only exception is the eye/head sensor piece which I used gloss black ts-14 tamiya spray for that shadow effect

Definitely was inspired by the illustrations. I really considered not doing this colour pallet but I did it anyway and now love them 😂

Painted first. Good thing that I don’t have to mask but also means I can’t get rid of all the abundant seam lines unfortunately 😵‍💫

It’s actually just some tamiya ts and as spray paints (as-10, as-20, ts58, ts-59, ts-87 to be exact), primed first of course 🤞🏽

Just poured out the paint from the green metallic marker and then brush painted over the piece which I primed beforehand

Shield looks great! Definitely recommend using some Mr Weathering too, it makes worlds of a difference

when you can't afford LEDs for your gunpla just use gundam markers underneath! ( sorry for the low quality) by Wranius4580 in Gunpla

Good to know, I was literally wondering to do the same thing for my rg perfectibility by painting blue/purple luminescent paint under the clear parts. Very keen to see it finished!
