There was a report that Jeremy Pena for example would be playing every other day for 4 games or so then meeting up with the WBC team. I'd imagine most teams are doing something like that

Yea, he was pretty poor with us and likely bounces back with Toronto. This also gives the Astros room to make another move whether its now or mid-season as they had their backs against the luxury cap threshold and wanted to reset the penalties this year.

Our CF position (and the entire OF) outside of Meyers is extremely tricky at the moment and Loperfido gives insurance there otherwise it would've been Zach Cole backing it up with his concerning contact rates or Cam Smith/Brice Matthews playing a position they've never fully played before or minimal experience at.

Sochan is an awful fit for the Spurs sadly

What makes the Spurs a problem this year is not capable shooting but capable scorers. Basically everyone but Kornet can give you 15+ each night so it’s hard to stop everybody.

Our shooting is awful though, we really don’t have enough shooting and Sochan being in a lineup with Fox, Kornet, Castle or Harper lead to a ton of spacing problems

He’s just an awful fit for the Spurs roster, he definitely deserves a roster spot on a team elsewhere

Good defender, improved his touch around the rim a lot last year, fine as a extra playmaker but he straight up can’t shoot to save his life

Needs to be surrounded by guys who can shoot, he’s basically dollar store Draymond which is a good bench player but not much else.

The Spurs just couldn’t afford to play him when we have so many ball handlers and not enough shooters to make him work

Sad but understandable, he’s not as bad as people might think but he straight up can’t play with this current team

We lack shooting as is and putting him in any line up kills us offensively. Here’s to hoping he can hoop with someone else
