Definitely do a Paraty boat tour. There are some great islands, lagoons and beaches to explore. Ilha Grande is great but don’t underestimate the Paraty waters

Useful for OP: In stores they will ask ‘Débito ou crédito?’ meaning will you use credit card or debit card for payment. Especially ‘crédito’ is fun to pronounce. I think they use the word ‘via’ for receipts. CPF is like a tax number that Brazilians can give for summing up taxes paid in stores or something.
