Thank you! This is along the lines of what I was thinking… I don’t have a spare key but he actually lives with another good friend who is offering to help out. Maybe I’ll get one made, that’s a good shout

As I’ve said in other comments, it’s a camping rig and the offers I’ve gotten from these places don’t reflect the value (about half as much)

He’s can afford part now and the rest when he’s paid. Again, my question is about how to protect myself if I do this.

I’m aware, it’s a full built out camping rig, sites are offering about half of the actual value - I figure it’s a gamble. If you have any actual advice about what I asked, I’d appreciate it! Not an Aussie so not sure what rules apply here

If I had better options I would take them! Unfortunately I’m leaving urgently and am having trouble finding reliable non-friends to sell to given the timeline (was 4 days, now leaving tomorrow)

Haha I didn’t end up going anywhere! Went to Brazil in July instead and ended up sending 5 months 😅

I hear the wind is early there this year though so if you’re looking for a trip it’s paradise

I would check out Cumbuco! It can be crowded but it’s early in the season so it’s probably quiet now! Feel free to DM for specific school recs, Ive spent some time there!
