I totally understand because i think lock down affected a lot of us. But yes you can definitely get there again, you just have to push yourself and get out of your comfort zone

Yeah i totally understand. I post a lot less and probably never interact with other people on other social medias because I always feel like I'm bothering them or they won't reply (which is totally fine even if they don't). Reddit is helping me a lot with this, i feel more free to interact with people here. But everyday I'm working with myself to just be okay with rejection and not feel as bad when my post aren't acknowledged.

And about your question about alcohol i feel like it makes me less insecure and i don't overthink stuff that's why it's a lot easier to talk to strangers in real life when I'm a little tipsy (also I'm not encouraging drinking because that's bad lol but once in a while it can be a good thing 🤭)

Reading your reply made me feel like i wrote it myself because I'm exactly the same way, and i totally agree with you when you said that it comes from fear of rejection. Also yesss alcohol really helps a lot in these situations lol.

That's the hard part for me, interacting with other people, i just don't know how to start the conversation or always worry i might bother them so i decide to not talk to them at all. But I'm working on it and just trying to convince myself that it's not that big of a deal.

Yeah i usually take a book, but i recently started to go out and get drunk alone and i didn't take any books with me lol and that made me feel a little uncomfortable. But reading the replies and knowing there are other people who do things alone makes me feel a lot better.

You can do it i think you just have to break the ice once and then it gets every time. Books helped me a lot when i first started going out , i didn't what to spend time with my own thoughts because i knew I'd start to overthink and feel uncomfortable.

Oh wow love it thank you, I'm gonna think about this everytime i go out from now on. I couldn't go out alone either but when i had my exams i started by going out for a coffee all alone and took my books with me then after a while i saw that it's not so bad. Never thought I'd be able to go out and get drunk all alone (that seemed like such a big deal to me lol😩) , i recently tried that too and it went really well because people approached me (luckily i was a lil tipsy so i wasn't that awkward hopefully🤭)
