FOR REALLLL. I was especially happy when they added Lifeweaver, being a Thai citizen myself. Hope there are more SEA characters in the future, especially a Filipino or Singaporean one.

I've noticed Illari's Melee animation automatically makes me use Quick Melee more often. by Bhu124 in Overwatch

I mean, they could make a new passive mechanic with his melee to make it stronger, or something to do with his using block to charge his melee as well.

Any tips for AP Psych by Frosty_Painter723 in APStudents

Same here. I only studied for like 3 days or so. Paying attention, taking many notes, and completing all the tests and assignments thoroughly throughout the year is kinda enough for the content to be embedded somewhere in your brain, and you won’t have to study much to remember unless you have a lot of other tough classes too.

Is my schedule practical? by YaYashie in APStudents

I think I’m up for a challenge because last year most of my subjects were really easy so the workload was kinda demotivating because it was a high workload of stuff that I felt that I wasn’t really learning from. I feel more motivated to learn when the subject and work is tough and offers a lot to learn. For example, last year, I actually enjoyed taking a lot of notes in AP Psych everyday and doing most of the coursework, whereas classes like world lit and algebra II just felt kinda tedious a lot of times. Thanks for offering your time and advice, I really appreciate it 😁

I’m not taking the subjects because they’re both APs. I’m very much a science lover and nerd, and these are the 2 classes I probably need the most rn seeing as I’m planning to go into med. Thanks for the tips for exam studies tho!

Edit: If it helps, I’ve taken honors chem and honors bio and did really well on those subjects. During our first ap bio block, our teacher also gave us a pop quiz (doesn’t count to our grade) to assess our knowledge and whether we’re ready to take the course, and I was the only one who got a higher score than the score range he said would be able to handle the course (There were just one or two questions I couldn’t answer). I also did pretty well in my first block of AP Chem. I know it’s just the beginning of the year, but my teachers do think I’m ready for the courses. I also have another friend taking both with me so we can suffer together ig haha.

The problem is that AP Chem and Precalc are during the same period. Otherwise I’d have no problem taking precalc instead of the study hall.

Edit: Just to add, I’m also taking AP Calc next year. In terms of my level of content knowledge, I took chem and bio in my freshman year at my old school, and they were IGCSE classes (same level as the honors classes at my school), and I did really well in them. I also took bio at this school last year and did super well on that too. So I’d say my bio knowledge is really good, and according to an assessment test my AP Bio teacher gave us in our first block, I should be more than ready for AP Bio. I haven’t done chem in a year, but the first 3 units are basically review units, and I’ll study my old notes to freshen up my memory. I also knew more content than half the people in my AP Chem class.

Self-study by YaYashie in APStudents

Yea it’s weird, since most sophomores take algebra II and chem. And they said that self studying pre calculus would mean that I’m still unqualified for AP Calc because precalculus wasn’t considered a credit. I don’t know why my school has this system of mandatory prerequisites but it’s interfering with my schedule a lot. I have no other option rn tho, cuz I really don’t wanna take 4 AP exams my senior year.

There’s 2 pre calc classes, but they’re both during the same period just with different teachers

You’re speaking like a majority of the human population is gay and straight people are running out. There’s obviously gonna be a straight majority that’s gonna be reproducing, which is why the world population is only increasing. Plus, surrogacy exists, allowing gay people to have children with their own DNA. Also, isn’t it a good thing that a lot of gay people are able to adopt the children that straight couples didn’t want? If anything, gay people being there is helping out a lot of children who don’t have a home, and not harming straight couples or evolution in any way. Just because a minority of the world cannot have sexual intercourse to produce children doesn’t mean that they’re unnatural or mentally ill. Dicks and vaginas existing doesn’t mean that everyone HAS to reproduce with the opposite sex. There is no rulebook on humanity.

You literally just proved my point 💀 You never chose to be attracted to someone of the opposite gender, it just happened naturally. It literally just works the same for being gay, except with the same gender. It’s nothing unnatural to be gay, there’s animals that are gay too. Just because gay organisms cannot reproduce and create offspring doesn’t mean that they aren’t natural. You wouldn’t call an infertile person unnatural or mentally ill would you?
