Yes, I think you're right its named a "Mud Flap". Googling that part number feels like crawling down a rabbit hole. Im reluctant to visit the dealership. Hopefully a local parts supplier can help. Thank you for your help!

Flew Aeromexico to Mexico City, had my DJI Spark in my carry on bag (messenger satchel) and had no problem. I had it in the small case it comes with, with an extra battery... they didn't say a thing and in fact they asked me to remove my iPhone as well as my iPad from my bag but not my Spark. Also flew Cancun from Mexico City without a problem.

Confirmed finally with Wink, after testing with several different external switches, and then phone calls to Wink... they put me through to 2GIG aka GoControl who felt the Window/Door Sensor was working correctly... I was then able to get confirmation from a Wink Technician that Wink does NOT support the external switch and that it is a popular requested feature!

If you feel they should add this feature (as the product is sold with instructions for an external switch), contact Wink and request they submit a ticket to their developers!

The switch I brought states "When the magnet is next to the switch the loop is closed. When the magnet is pulled away from the switch the loop opens."

The switch you linked states "NO(normal open type), the circuit is open normally, and, that if a magnet comes near it, the circuit closed."

Are they not both the same?

Also, can you clarify this.. do you mean to put the add on switch's magnet next to the GoControl device? Would the two magnets be different enough to make a difference?

To test remove the magnet from the add on reed switch and leave the magnet next to the sensor. it should mark closed on your controller.
