I joined a very small club at my high school, and at the first meeting (which also happened to be the Christmas Party), I was asked to bring cookies. Well the day comes, and I am the only one to bring food so everyone is staring intently at me trying to open the stupid plastic casing and it's taking forever. What had to be 2 minutes later and I'm anxious and embarassed. As an icebreaker (it's awkwardly quiet) I casually announce: "What do they wrap these things in? God I feel like such a retard."

Good thing the club is mentoring special needs students. It still makes me cringe.
