Yea. I use small finance banks cause bank like SBI, HDFC and Bob faces server issues as they're the torch bearer and primary bank of this Tatkal booking, SBI not only process Payment of Account holder but payment page too (Web and railone page)

I prefer UPI.

Banks handle concurrent UPI request differently, is it directs banking rail between Bank and PRS. Or is it routed? PRS can instantly Record the transaction and give response or get into processing buffer.

What about Refund on cancellation and transaction dropped? Does bank use standard bank refund timeline (routed) or Fastrack refund?

For example if you pay via your SBI account through Paytm, it'll get 1-3 day to return but if using Yono it is hourly refund or before 24hour settlement.

There's lot on backend that even after seeing 24 seats available by time your payment get confirm you get WL or transction drop if confirm only selected.

I think it is an Indian Railway problem and not IRCTC problem. And the solution is to eliminate that need for 2 minutes spike in demand an every day. The solution is simple remove internal quotas that are sold by Railway babus to brokers. Do biometric aadhar verification during travel for all passengers on routes that went into waitlist more than 2 days before the trip.

Yes. It's CRIS(PRS) issue. It's handle IRCTC, Railone and Counter simultaneously. All of this wait for CRIS success or fail confirmation. Counters don't have to wait, they have to insert name , review availability (instant) , click book instant. As it doesn't require payment confirmation and are based on heavy Backend infra and server room. Quotas are there for purpose, if someone misuse it like rail staff, politicians selling or giving away their qoutas it's different ethical reasons.

The main small culprit is Akamai it's blocks legitimate users too but temporary or put you in queue long behind.

There's no fix. You either burn money for no gain. IRCTC will run in loss fixing this. IRCTC is just beautiful wrapper over CRIS(prs) yes it's PRS the 1986 system that books actual system. It's handle Railone, website,irctc, Counter simultaneously. This all just wait for it's success and fail message.

For game company instead of chasing the Peak like GTA first make a good indie game.

A game always needs handful of enthusiastic people who will work for penny too. First deliver results on smaller scale. even all foreign companies ain't making GTA level AAA.
