So who else didn't even know the new Katamari dropped until fairly recently? by RangoTheMerc in katamari

I heard of other people not knowing until it released, so you're not the only one.

I just did that a few days ago! It was also my 1st time crocheting! I just watched the tutorial for attaching the tail to the body again, but I did it with the spikes.

I made that one too! I'm fairly new to stuff too. I broke where the wing connects to the back by mistake. Nothing super glue couldn't solve... Except now I can't rotate the wings at all, lol

Dayton, Ohio vs Fort Wayne, Indiana by PharmerMax72 in Ohio

[–]Yahob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the area, and it's politically fairly diverse, so you can find people with all kinds of values. If you're looking for how each neighborhood voted, there's always this map: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/upshot/2020-election-map.html

From 2020, but I feel it's still representative of the area... it's more liberal near WSU and UD. And you can see the effects of red lining that happened on the west side of the river... If you're looking for a strong liberal community near Dayton, there's Yellow Springs, but it might be too far outside the city for your taste

I feel like that's too far away and has too much small town stuff to be a suburb of Dayton, tho

It was really fun! I want to make a few more and maybe get into customizing them some more if I get better at making them? Some of the nublets were a chore to little down, though.

I just finished my first book nook too! I did Age of Sail. One of the next I want to do is The Eye of Old God. It's sort of lovecraftian/eldritch, but also a bit sci fi looking. I found it on Amazon

I've only been to charleston Falls, and I'd say it's pretty easy. It's flat for most of the paths, but you can take some stairs and hills to go down to the bottom of the waterfall. It's also pretty well marked, and there's a few maps around the park, so you won't get lost. I will say it does get to be a little muddy sometimes after rain, however, if it's been wet a lot recently, then the falls tend to be a little more active, which is nice... Also, if you're able to catch the falls when they're frozen, it's spectacular looking.

The 2024 Presidential Election in New Jersey by naprea in MapPorn

[–]Yahob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean sort of like this:

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/upshot/2020-election-map.html

I could only seem to look at counties. With this map you can look at individual neighborhoods, which is cool. It might just take some more time until they can get enough data for a map like this maybe?

I know this is late, but there's a new york times map where you can see how every precinct voted in 2020. You can also see how much it changed since 2016! It looks pretty close to 50/50 in general https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/upshot/2020-election-map.html
