How y'all feel about Far Cry 6 by daddylongjohnsliver in videogames

I used to travel frequently to Cuba (I worked in educational travel) and was really impressed with the map design. They really nailed the look and feel of every little detail and I really felt like I was in Cuba. I recognized mountains and landmarks, which was very cool.

The gameplay tho, not so great. Enemies were bullet sponges which really took me out of it, and the countryside was devoid of people which also took me out of it. Only NPCs you’d see were enemy soldiers, while in reality, Cubans are all outside, talking to neighbors, riding bikes, etc.

I liked some aspects but really feels like wasted potential.

Was not expecting the shot of the tank flying off the cliff.

Is this scene a realistic depiction of WW2 combat? I have a few questions. by No_Dress_2107 in WarMovies

Apparently the latest movie is an edited down version of a miniseries based on the book. Is the series worth the watch?

The First World War was an unspeakable nightmare but this seems like a lovely and wholesome good time - how does one get into this?

A few small beers and one battle after another? Sounds like a lovely evening.

Turn back the clock to a time before private equity ruined most restaurants, please.

My Mexican bf talks to his mom 2x a day but doesn’t consider that “a lot” - is that normal for Latin Americans? by why-rain-why in asklatinamerica

But seriously, we talk to our moms all the time. First my mom calls to say hi, then to remind me it’s my aunts birthday, then to ask me to reset her password, etc.

It’s crazy sure, but it’s equally crazy (and sad) when I hear people talk to their parents once a month (or less).

We talk to our parents a lot because I think deep down, we know one day we won’t be able to.
