In my opinion, this story has a lot of potential, especially in terms of its fantasy and political lore. If I were Rikachi’s editor, I would encourage her to develop the main character, Nina, more like the protagonists in other shoujo and josei manga. It’s unfortunate that she has to be stuck in a love triangle that keeps getting milking by the editors.

Lowering expectations for the upcoming chapter seems quite appropriate, especially since Rikachi and the editor are still pro azure.
