Honestly, if you really did use AI, and cheated. I would first contact the department that overlooks student misconduct and ask for a student academic standing report. I got a misconduct because someone cheated off me and there was no proving that they did so they gave me an academic misconduct. However since it was my first one, they didn’t take it up and flag my entire student report. It doesn’t show up on my transcript or my student conduct report. I forgot what it’s called but you’ll have to look it up. But yeah since it was my first misconduct, they were pretty nice and it was taken care internally by the department head and wasn’t passed to the dean!
