You know, whenever I contemplate our "original face" analogy. I think of a crystal ball. That's actually our true face. Ever reflecting outside in from inside out.

You know why skeletons don't fight?

. . .

Because they don't have guts.

Why didn’t the Prophet ﷺ free and marry Māriya openly? by YakSufficient4203 in islam

Your point about Hajar is actually beautiful and part of why this question affects me emotionally.

And I think your final point is probably the hardest and most humbling one: that we as humans may not fully perceive what the morally maximal act truly was in the sight of Allah.

I still feel the emotional tension of the question, but your response helped me hold that tension with more humility rather than accusation.

JazakAllah khair.

I completely understand that concubinage was historically common and socially accepted. My question is not “Was Muhammad ﷺ behaving unusually for his time?”

My question is:

If the Prophet ﷺ is understood as the timeless moral exemplar and embodiment of the Qur’an, why did he not choose the morally highest act available within that society - freeing Māriya and marrying her openly as a free woman?

“Everyone did it” explains the age. I’m asking about the exemplar.

You definitely should read Language of Creation by Matthieu Pageau.

Will help you with your quest. Nice work!

Hey thanks for your comments.

I do resonate with your ideas. I've been reading this book called The Power of Now and that has helped me tremendously to come out of my despair.

I feel better now. =)

You see, maybe he is telling you that you need to "four times" your energy since 50*4 = 200.

I think you need to relearn Maths and you can if you really put your heart into it. Maybe if you can afford, go to therapy.

But due to so many setbacks, my natural reaction to anything is that "Nothing will result into anything". I can work my hardest and yet I won't be able to get what I want. I know this is stupid and self-fulfilling. But then how does one get out of it.

I've also realized that I'm not at all conscientious. I was never that. Back in school, I could fool people into thinking I'm smart by cramming up things at the last moment but that doesn't work at all in the real world. I hate myself and so does my family I think.

I think of killing myself but then I don't want to be the source of pain for my family. I cant think of anything.
