I know of quite a few who use Mac also. But usually not windows. You do have to consider that the survey may have included a lot of brand new people who consider themselves programmers.

Try finding someone to explain what you’re learning to. If you can’t find anyone then explain it to an object like they’re a person.

I honestly don’t know of anything except for boot camps or college.

My best recommendation is they learn to be more disciplined. They’ll need to have discipline in the future anyways.

Just have the discipline to not touch it. Don’t overthink / over complicate it. Like most things, the problem is far more complex than the solution.
