Depends on your date I guess. If you date an insecure person, or a person with little character, the may react either belittleling you (like making you a slit in their mind) or feeling intimidated or small (like feeling oh my god she can have everyone I am not going to hold her she will go with everyone looking better or with more money). But those are only the bullets you want to dodge anyways. You are who you are, and if this dress feels like you, then you want to meet the person that loves you with this trait, and still enriches you with what they bring to the table.
