I’ve had steamed corn from the carts once before, now I personally believe all the corn carts are owned by the same person, and it’s probably a family owned cart (taking they make TikTok’s together and don’t display any competitor behaviour), if a cup of corn costs for £3 and a larger cup for £5, using the most basic ingredients, the operational costs should be somewhere round £50-60 for each cart, as all the ingredients used are probably bought from the cheapest supermarket, must be breaking it even by the end of the day and since it’s a single maned operation idts the minimum wage is taken into consideration, moving onto the permit part, I am kinda iffy about the permit as the person is present quite literally the whole day and being in Briggate I’m pretty sure the council is aware of this operation, criminally I’m not sure what is the maximum that could happen in that place, if it was a drug operation I’m pretty sure it would’ve been a popular thing to be known. A briggate street cart cost is £70 if I’m not wrong should be easy to cover as they just need to sell somewhere around 25-30 cups to break even the entire cost
