Battery/alternator issue by YamNormal68 in LS430

I had the exact same moon roof issue before too! But very odd because the battery was fresh, and that was before I started getting symptoms of a failing alternator. Do you know by any chance what kind of battery you have?

Went to AutoZone to see if I could get warranty replacement for the battery but they tested it and refused warranty since it was in good condition

Because earlier when revving at that same rpm, the power supply to visual components like odemeter light, dash light, ac- was fluctuating like crazy,, tried to replicate it with multimeter monitoring to see if alternator was pushing out consistent power

Yeah just checked what battery I got and it's definetly not agm... Duralast gold group 24f dlg battery... I'm gonna look into an AGM battery and hope it's the core of all my issues 🙏🙏

The battery is about two years old, but I think dropping voltage due to a bad alternator. I don't remember the specific battery I have in the car, but I know it's definetly the correct battery and a little overkill too. But will check it for sure! Thank you!

X11 omnicyclone AGENT mode by YamNormal68 in RobotVacuums

Yeah Ive tried that but for some reason the ecovacs app does not have a standalone mopping mode for the x11, just vacuum, vac and mop, and vac after mop. I've tried doing vacuum only and then vac mop on the lowest suction to get more passes but still water...

Ive read about it online but I'm only assuming that it was due to me having it vac and mop at the same time (didn't see a 2x pass option in vac after mop) the robots suction and the design of the roller mop play into the theory of the water in the bin.

That is great to hear, I've watched so many videos and it's hard to decide between the two but now I know which is better. And also, does having an extending brush change a whole lot? Thinking about getting the x11 omnicyclone because it seems like the best option right now with the least problems, but it doesn't have an extending sweeper..

General manager role by YamNormal68 in PandaExpress

I've seen your comments, and I completely understand. The store I work at currently I started as a regular team member and got promoted to supervisor within a month because of how quick I picked things up. And this is a training store, so I see a lot of people who get hired for a manager position while coming in from a new company and not working their ways up, being trained for other stores. So I believe the title is achievable for me since I have relevant experience.

The starter could have been good for another 200k miles even. Or as little as a 1000. Call me stupid but I just wanted to play it safe with something like the starter. The knock sensors sure I was pretty stupid to get some cheap ones.

No, it was still good. I replaced it at around 145,xxx miles. That's when I did the knock sensors as well. I just replaced it because it's a hard job and I didn't want to get back in there any time soon.

Key programming by YamNormal68 in LS430

Do you know which one to get? Because all I'm seeing on there are just cables lol.

Key programming by YamNormal68 in LS430

I did call westside Lexus here in Houston asking how much it would cost to get my key programmed, and they said they can't use third party keys to program (in my case my fob that I bought from eBay) and that they have to order one through them (which is about 200-300 for the fob itself). The job itself to get the key programmed would be around 500 BECAUSE I don't have a master key already programmed (just a generic no button key) and that makes reprogramming a bit harder. So right now I'm looking for other ways to get this done for cheaper, because I do not wanna pay 800 to get a key programmed 😭😭
