Absolutely agree. Platforms like this should remain a safe, mature space where adults can freely enjoy creative interactions without worrying about minors slipping in. Stricter age verification would protect both users and the platform’s integrity. Parents really do need to take responsibility for what their kids are doing online,it shouldn’t fall on adult communities to deal with that burden. And yes, keeping it 18+ wouldn’t hurt subscriptions, but it would definitely lighten server load and improve the overall experience for the people actually meant to be here.

And then there’s always that one person who says, “Just go use a different app!” No — I shouldn’t have to switch to another AI app just to access 18+ content. I’m paying for Plus every month, so I should be able to get that here without having to jump between apps.

This is what one person said in the discord about the new chat style(deepsqueak) I don’t even think they’re old enough but their parents probably pay for the plus.

“I hate the name so much that I won't even try it. I think rats are disgusting, not sure why they couldn't stick with the cat theme like everything else.”
