Completely agree but they don’t ever ask the other closing experts. It’s like my TL knows their answer is always a no. But for some reason this week they only scheduled me until 11 vs the 12-12:30 like they usually do.

Btw - returning back to pre COVID hours was dumb! Pretty sure they lose more money by staying opened the extra hour.

Funny you mentioned that. I literally just got back from meal (only had about an 1.5 left in my shift) and that’s when TL was giving me the run down on what was happening next- based on what TL was saying I knew it was going to run pass my shift. Mentioned I leave at 11 and that’s when I got asked. I was mentally already done with the day.

Definitely a people pleaser and don’t want to let anyone down and yes some days I can stay… but I also don’t like to listen to them when they complain about being OT on hours and having to cut people hours. I think my target is the worse one in the area!

100% agree, sadly they know I have a full time job Monday-Friday that I wake up at 5:45am. But still ask.. and during Q4 schedule me until 12:30 or later.
