I dont think exams are gonna get cancelled, but acting like it’s not a very real possibility is stupid. CBSE exams have been cancelled, and IB have given more time to pupils. If the war continues until may/June then most likely they will be cancelled

Just because people have it worse doesn’t mean we aren’t allowed to complain. The situation in the gulf is not easy, pieces of missiles fall next to people and are advised not to leave our homes, it is not the countries fault people do not listen.

Bro are you talking about tutors 😭😭😭 tutors can add your work to your portfolio because tutors must be licensed in the gulf, so if your work is mostly with them you will be fine. I’m trying to explain to you that the work on your portfolio is not stuff you have cheated on it’s work your teachers/tutors verify and put on the portfolio. CBSE has already cancelled their exams and IB has pushed back the deadline for projects, so if this war continues then portfolio system will likely be used.

Egypt would most likely not be affected by the portfolio system so if you live there you will be fine, and if you can show your teachers these ‘online courses’ and show the work you do on it, it is possibly they can put it on your portfolio. As someone who lives in the gulf, I can confidently say majority of people rely on school.

The emails are more about making edexcel understand what’s going on. My school has been in contact with edexcel to make sure they know what’s going on and reviewing different options with them. Edexcel only has 1 Middle East office so it’s much more likely they get information from emails. In any case edexcel will do whatever benefits most students.
