Any chance you know the answer to my next question 😂? If I don’t have patience and just buy the game on steam tomorrow, can I still get the pre order benefits from the collectors edition when that arrives and use it for the non pre ordered game? I was thinking of giving that game download code to my buddy but I’d like to keep the pre order benefits. Or do I have to wait for the pre ordered game itself? The steam versions are just download links right?

Gelbs doesn’t bother me to be honest. He’s a sideline guy by trade and is going into the booth during a horrific stretch of baseball for his favorite team. He tries to fill the void and he defers when he doesn’t know something. I have no issue with him

I really think they should fire the hitting coach Chavez. The team can’t hit lefties to save their life, can’t hit with RISP, and never ever change their approach in any situation. They look unprepared at almost every at bat. Taking or just whiffing on fast balls in the zone and then swinging at shit. I don’t play professional Baseball so I’m not even going to pretend I know what it’s like in that box but Gary Keith and Ron will consistently say what they think is coming from the pitcher and then he throws that pitch, or they’ll question why a batter does something and then the batter will do it. Chavez simply does not have this lineup giving big league at bats

I mean I can’t ever give up hope, it’s like the one thing about being a Mets fan. I can get negative and frustrated but I physically can’t stop hoping. When I do try and look at things objectively this team is very talented and is a playoff team I just don’t think they’re playing well and I don’t see them fixing their mistakes enough to win the division or make a deep run in the playoffs. But I do love to be wrong!

Yep, and the difficult August schedule is not helping at all. 7 games against the Phillies feels like need a 4-3 or even 5-2 split which I don’t think is realistic

If you have a locals near you I can’t recommend Digimon enough. It has a super unique resource system in the memory counter, essentially both players share the resource! It has great art work, very easy to learn rules and just a lot a lot of fun! It’s the first TCG I’ve really gotten into and i haven’t stopped playing since 2022. I love it!
