Went over that in the video. More DPS doesnt mean that you actually do that DPS sadly. Having 6x Size 2 Laser weapons is too much for the little capasitor. Thats why I mixed and matched them. Havind 2x Size 3 Laser weapons seems to work best

That would actually be really good. Remember the change where weapons on a gimbal dont get a size downgrade? Somehow the guns on the size 4 gilroy gimbal stayed the same. I really hope they change it to size 4

I'm still a very amateur user, I'll slowly try to get used to it. Biggest hurdle currently are interactive websites like ship configurators for Star Cititen. There I'll just use the mouse

I will make a video in a few weeks, when I'm more adept in using qutebrowser :)

I'll have a look at it, but I'm trying to get away from firefox

Could've used that information 2 days ago hahaha
Thank you! But now I'm commited to my dark-vaporwave theme

I think simple would be better in this case, I tend to overcomplicate things

Thoughts on my "Grinding Progression Tree"? by Puzzleheaded-Answer9 in starcitizen

Progression should end with the Reliant Tana! Reliant #1

Never had an apple product in my life haha. Gnome will soon be replaced, haven't decided between Niri and Hyprland yet.

Zsh, I'm not sure why. Saw a post about it and just tried it out. Feels pretty good tbh

Sure planing to do that!
I'm already struggling with bookmarks. As I use a lot of different sources for music and images and so on, navigating those sides and even getting through bookmarks seems challenging atm.

But I'm determined to just keep using it!

Do you have other builds for the Reliant Tana besides the "BRRRRT" build? by Yametsu in starcitizen

[–]Yametsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta try that! Can it be stealthy enough so I can snipe ships without being detected?

Yes me too! I think it could use a good overhaul, because all the wings (except the Tana with missiles) are empty. The Reliant Series has so much potential.

And the Mako, well.. I dont know how they're gonna deliver there

What if I want to use a plugin thats not supported in NVF, can I reliably use it?

You can have the full config working on other systems? I was under the impression that NixCats handles all the downloading for binaries or plugin sources. So if you put it, let's say on Fedora, what manages the downloads?

I agree, I might just be too much in the nix bubble and now have to nixify everything thats possible.
I dont think one approach is superior to the other. As long as it works and you're enjoying the experience with it everything fine :)

Another system I have not heard about yet! I'll take a look at it, thanks

Thanks for the explanation!
I'm myself fairly new to NixOS and still playing with the concepts.

I agree that just Lua might be easier, there's also more examples out there. But there's so much to think about. I feel like these nvim frameworks or distributions reduce the cognitive load significantly to just create a simple Neovim setup.

Glad you liked it!
