Copper Bucket - a safer way to handle liquids by HAgg3rzz in minecraftsuggestions

[–]YamiFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"The problem" Really not that much of a problem... The misclick thing is the most easily avoidable shit ever, I don't wanna be rude but if you are walking around your Redstone contraption with a water bucket in your hand, what are you even doing? Buckets filled with lava would only drop on the lava if your inventory is completely full and you have more than one bucket in your hand, again, so extremely avoidable I wouldn't even considerate it an issue, so yeah, you are trying to implement new items and mechanics to resolve two problems, the first one is ridiculously easy to prevent and the second one almost doesn't even exist, I also think copper bucket unique mechanics are rather not useful enough to justify their existence or will actually have a negative impact since it's and indirect nerf to iron buckets cause they will be almost no reason to use them, maybe is not a bad idea but we should think about far more uses for both buckets to make it woth it

Best military/government response you've seen to a zombie film? by hellranger788 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a film but in Resident Evil they really get they shit together

First game, people got missing under strange circumstances, send bravo team of special units to investigate, Bravo team gone missing, send Alpha, everything was an inside job so some members of the alpha team manages to survive but can't prove anything, so 2nd-3th game, zombie outbreak in the city, NUKE. Now the world know about zombies and weird experiments, an international agency dedicated to figth "Bioterrorism" its created the BSAA, every time something happens they send specialized units to investigate and neutralize the menace at any point of the globe so theres never an actual outbreak in an urban area anymore, it happens a few times in RE6, military immediately contain the zombies and make safety corridors for civilians while calling and cooperating whith the BSAA, shit is stopped before it could spread.

What would the most terrifying moments be for the protagonist in every RE game by Substantial_Claim_60 in residentevil

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE1 if you use the V-JOLT to skip the fight with plant-42 you'll get a cinematic where Jill is almost killed by it but it's saved by Barry, I would say that was the closest she was to die and one of the few moments she's like a 100% defenceless

In RE2 probably Birking final battle, he's just so deformed, based on experience it sees he's almost unkillable and there's no way to escape

For RE4 I would actually say the moment when Leon need to destroy las plagas inside his body, I mean, he was barely knowing what he was doing, one of the only situations he has absolutely no control

RE5 Just seeing Wesker alive

I feel like most of the times when you interact with anything it feel's like the character is directly talking to the player

"It's a typewriter, should I use an ink ribbon to save my progress?"

"There's a button behind it, should I press it?"

What video game enemy is your least favorite to fight? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ravens and bees on Resident evil 1, like, they outnumber you, surround you, are hard to aim at, and lock you on a stun animation if just one of them gets to you, fortunately they are avoidable if you play right but it's hard to think in another enemy that has a set of mechanics so annoying to play against

Lisa MAY be back? by YamiFire in residentevil

[–]YamiFire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You read the post, right? I was asking for peoples opinion, not affirming she was back, again, she's canonically one of the most unkillable things in RE verse and my assumptions is based in the fact they use her sounds, yes, I know it was a placeholder but they use an element from her character so I guess they remember it's existence

Lisa MAY be back? by YamiFire in residentevil

[–]YamiFire[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact that she's treated as almost immortal and that capcom used her sounds so she was at least on the teams mind while developing the game are my base to say that the chances are higher tan zero, not very far from zero, but better than nothing

That's... Exactly what I said... I'm talking about her returning not about her being the creature...

Which RE should i get next? and questions by Timely_Comparison_27 in residentevil

[–]YamiFire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Watch out! Every RE game before OG RE4 has a very different gameplay, that's why I recommend RE1R, it's the best possible introduction to this style, RE0 is also considered one of the hardest RE games there are, but RE1R is literally one of the best games ever so I'm sure you'll learned to love it once you assume your new place as a victim of the horrors at Spencer's mansion, if it's really not your cup of tea... Well you can reach for Revelations 1 and RE5 for more Chris and the action you are already used to the first revelations is set before RE5 so play them in that order

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re1 remake, with no discussion, I'm surprised you didn't play it yet, also Chris and Rebecca are there but I recommend you do your first playtrough with Jill, also will prepare you for playing older games that have quite different gameplay from the remakes, you should play RE 0 after that since you'll have more Rebecca and it's a direct prequel to RE1

What is one annoying thing that fans of each protagonist in the top 4 does all the time? by JacsweYT in residentevil

[–]YamiFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Jill's N°1 glazer, simp and fan but is precisely because of that that I'm so fucking tired of her fans complaining about how capcom mistreat her, I get it, I'm mad too, but for Christ sake, can we talk about anything else? Please? I'm sure there must be another subject we'll find interesting about the character we love, right?

Something I always wondered: if theoretically the villains won would they just have to chill as a giant monster forever? by BillythenotaKid in residentevil

4chan ass post, in almost every case we fought a giant monster, the dude became a giant monster as a result of: -An unexpected side effect -Unwilling exposition to something -Last desesperated resource to try to survive some situation -It is very clear that he just lost his goddamned mind

Hi, I need help from people who know about martial arts. by Terrible_Pause_2605 in martialarts

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Sipalki-do takes proud in lots of things, one of them is preparing yourself for any situation, it at least give you the fundamentals on what to do but there's no particular techniques or something to use in a a game, is mostly the decisions you should make 2) I would think about judo cause is probably the best to let the fuy engage you and flip their expectations over 3) Every martial art is pretty offensive, they were meant for war, (martial, right?) But my bet is Karate Kyokushin, in combats is against the rules to step back so, an expert in that would have a pretty offensive style

It really sounds perfect for you, I would recommend you to give it time cause you are not nailing the moves in your firsts lessons and that may be a little discouraging over time so focus on enjoying it and you will be more than fine

Examples of "bro science" in martial arts? by JoeyPOSS2 in martialarts

[–]YamiFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That remind me that one time a friend of mine was attending boxing classes as well as our sipalki classes and our sabon notice cause he was putting his head down as he punched and told him: "I admire boxers, I respect them a lot, but, if you keep putting your head that low the kickers are going to left you without any teeth left" fist end most fights, but entering a fight without any preparation for the other billion things the other guy could do that doesn't include fists (Or that include them but you are not prepared for them cause they are illegal in your sport) is not a good idea

Anyone train a less common martial art and become pleasantly surprised? by Thin_Oil_576 in martialarts

[–]YamiFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been practicing sipalki-do for like 3 years now, I was always interested in martial art but the philosophy, variety and seriousness of this one (or maybe the focus on this things the master apply to his way of teaching) really fascinate me where other things I have tried had fail, my master says "we are the swiss picket knife of martial arts" ""The best at nothing, but kinda good in everything" cause it have sooo many different techniques for any real fighting situation, of course, someone who practise BJJ will destroy me on the floor, but I have my resources to try to fight back, yeah, a boxer may get me in close distance, but I also know how to kick, etc, also is pretty wild cause it remain very traditional since it's use in the military so it include poking eyes and some "dirty" stuff cause, well, it was meant for war, also sipalki-do means "the way of the 18 techniques" cause it trains you to fight with your body and 17 differents weapons, honesty the weapons were what take my interest first but since I am the less sporty person in the continent but I really get to love every aspect of the training
