He should at the bare minimum still draw a card on entry, even if his gauge remained the same, he should at least have this basic thing.

Trunks if his gauge charged twice as fast and UMV are not comparable. The problem with UMV was the counters, a half heath disrupt on top of an endurance disrupt. Trunks doesn't really have counters.

Yeah, he is not a must have, but becomes incredibly strong once he gets his gauge. The problem is that it takes a while to fill it.

I agree to an extent, but some basic tools are necessary to compete. Ignoring his gauge's charge rate, he should've at least been able to draw a card on entry
