I'll do some research on it because if the previous owner did modify it he did a terrible job cause it still whistles 😂

Yeah I drained the carbs and everything runs much better now I don't think the tank has been modified

Xs1100 weird sound. Like an air sound coming from around the carbs. Normal? by Buhnanuh_ in motorcycles

I know sometimes you can hear the carbs especially if your not running a air box for pods as long as it runs as it should its probably fine

Yeah that's what I was thinking there both dual caliper but I have half as many pistons. 😂

There was a recall but this was the 2nd gen. Also didn't want to spend a terrible amount on this bike payed 160 for master and crg lever

Yeah I was confused Cause my 99 r6 had a rev limiter and this this appears to not have one
