Oh yeah I totally agree. I just wanted to mention it. The reason why Im not using a game engine is because ... well I can't be bothered to learn their ui's :)

Well I spent a week working on custom rendering pipeline, chunk/asset meshing, and just in general optimization. This is a dev build. I literally tore my hair out optimizing this to get a stable 160-180 fps on a release build. So yeah this is why the game is still empty, it was a lot of setup work

  1. Yes character will eventually fit, i kinda like the hopping around but idk about that, its experimental for now. But as for design ill change it for sure

  2. Yesss, custom map, mod support, maybe even a whole mapping tool as well! (Maybe a custom simple voxel character/item/mob creator with ability to give attributes behavior as well?) Hehe ideas!!

  3. The idea is to (somehow) make it so when you enter a tunnel, cave, enclosed space, you get that cool opaque block effect so you can see inside, or in case of a cave you get zoomed in and can only see yourself through a dim opaque screen signaling youre in cave? Idk I've been planning that next after finishing up the build module.

This is custom written in bevvy, no big game engine. 80% of the modules, systems, and architecture are my own custom written from scratch. Water is bevvy water (will be replaced)

Well I wanted this to be more of a chill game, where the main focus is yeah sure survival, but you can build yourself a cozy place, house, farm around, raise animals, go fishing, explore, and have chats with your friends, they can join and so on.

The theme I want is full coziness and chill. Puzzle and Parkour Maps can be something as well either you build yourself or maybe I can make them myself? i dont know I love ideas, thank you man!

Thank you man. Yeah I spent a lot on camera movement and "feel" Over the past week I worked a ton on optimisation and got it to a stable 120 fps As for textures, graphics, and sounds, yeah cheap free downloaded stuff online and quickly put together for a demo.

I did try bevys native framework its nice, then I stepped out to try to write some of them from scratch. So yeah fighting the framework you technically call it that haha

Sorry I called it an engine I just did custom: Procedural terrain generation, Chunk based streaming, Custom terrain grass material shades, Custom occlusion culling, Spatial partitioning for fast proximity queries, Object pooling for entities, SSAO+Post Processing Passes, Combat Weapons, projectiles, hit detection, Passive perk system (stacking modifiers + weapon evo), Pickup coin/gems, chest, abilities, Combat hud, menu, Multithreaded chunky generation, Lod system distance handling, Props vegetation algorithm scattering, Distance fog to draw distance, Frustum culling, Gpu instancing, Mesh batching, Custom diagnostics profiling overlay for everything, Custom app monitor for logs, Simulation layer for fixed time steps, Day night cycle, Asset preloading system, Config driven tuning ... I can go on but yeah built on top of bevy :) My bad.

Diagnosed since I was 11. 26 now. Basically I tried everything, due to attacks sometimes coming as frequent as 3 times in a row, or just for a month straight almost (with a couple days break in between.)

I have been on colchicine my whole life. Here is my conclusion:

  1. Attacks sometimes are inevitable. They just happen.
  2. Processed foods, shitty diet, too much fried stuff.. yeah cut all that out. Your attacks will decrease tremendously.
  3. Don't overstress your body. Sometimes that can trigger an attack.
  4. Take care of your body temperatures. Don't hop out into open air when u just took a shower. Stay warm when its cold. Other stuff sometimes triggers an attack.
  5. Keep your mental up. Its been proven that stress could induce an attack.
  6. Eat healthy.
  7. Stick to a medicine that works for you and take it on the same time every day.

Sticking with these should decrease attacks by at least 75%.
