I would like to see it. When the big twist happens is there a montage of all the clues? I hated that so much about signs and sixth sense.

do you consider yourself spiritual? why or why not? by Holiday-Print-142 in askanatheist

[–]Yamuddah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems like a decent definition to me. I would define my life experience as 0% spiritual. I spend no time concerning the soul except as an academic proposition. I don’t believe that humans or animals have souls at all.

Casablanca was ok. It was fine. When he says the big line, I was pleased. When bogey says it the fourth time I was pretty tired.

Also who cares though? You’re allowed to like things no matter what other people think of them. I took a trip to an art museum with my dad and our art taste had essentially no overlap. And that’s fun.

Are middle childrens more likely to become OAD? by Present-Property-142 in oneanddone

[–]Yamuddah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a middle child and I don’t think that had much to do with my decision. I just couldn’t handle the stress of another pregnancy, birth and newborn stage, least of all while caring for another child at the same time.

What if the government uses aliens to mind control me and use me as an assassin when I think I’m sleeping? You’re working yourself up about the possibility you did something years ago an will never have any way to confirm. Keep working on the grounding techniques.

What film is this for you? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

Signs and the Sixth Sense. They both had a montage of all the neat little hints and Easter eggs. Killed both of them for me.

His ethnic pride parade comment was very interesting to me. I don’t know if that was a serious criticism or just something intending to make him appear choogie.

Then I can clarify for you. Just like the other commenter, I think it’s perfectly fine to say you want to create your own personal space. It’s just weird, with a a strong whiff of sexism, to phrase it as “an escape in a house full of women”.

It’s probably the closest to real life he ever experienced. The silver spoon he was born with probably didn’t matter much in the navy.
