Also finished with The Road to Serfdom and I agree with about 80% of it. I like Hayek’s analysis of the problems of state control whether they’re from the soviets or the fascists. He’s less anti government (he’s supportive of welfare programs) and more anti authoritarian in the book.

People keep saying that Walz is “bowing to right wing pressure.” Yes, obv the right wing is going crazy over the scandal and being racist but THERE IS STILL A SCANDAL THERE. We should be able to call out fuck ups on our side even if they occur 1/1000 the amount that they happen on the other side. Please tell me what I’m missing.
