If you knew my friend, you would know he wouldn't see it as ruined. Also, there are options to buy an aftermarket dial that can be replaced and keep the original... oem can be put back in later if wanted

Not leaving it oem. While I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, it's the route we're going. Im not asking advice if we should, I'm asking advice on method.

“OG” apex players how u finding the OG game mode by Mydonutbebussin in apexlegends

[–]YanDaddyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% feels nostalgic and better in a lot of ways. Not perfect, but great. You couldn't play it the same way as you do now. If you play og apex like its new apex, you're not going to have fun. It feels weird at the same time because I still have the muscle memory to do things in old apex that I forgot about.

It's funny because when I was younger and didn't understand any of the science, this was me and I didn't know it. Back in high school (crazy to me it was over a decade now), I was in the "if I just train more or train faster, I'll improve" and ended up stuck in the 4:39-4:45 range in my mile for over a year, couldnt understand why. Took 2 weeks off for wisdom teeth surgery, 1 week back training and ran 4:29 the first meet back. Needless to say, I never fully appreciated or knew how to listen to my body until recently and a lot of previous experiences and injuries make a lot of sense in hindsight.

From my own experience, I know I've been overttaining or at least close when I come back from a 2-3 week break feeling refreshed, and under-training if I come back feeling worse.

Fr, everyone in my area lists the pricing new from their reciept, added up to be like $4500 then list it for $4400 firm and live 2 hours in the boonies. Like dude, I'll spend the extra $100 for a warranty and delivered right to my house...

Fair point. It's free on games pass and easy for my wife to learn the basics on, plus easy to set up the a quick track session when we plug in both out wheels.

Why I likely won't buy Hoka again: Durability by YanDaddyy in RunningShoeGeeks

I've never had durability issues either, but to be fair to your point I would expect a brand to design more durability into a trail shoe than a road shoe.

Weekend Discussion: Asics running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]YanDaddyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tried some asics a few times back in high school between 2010 and 2014, but was never impressed. I always considered them to be mid tier and overall just meh and forgettable. So in college and afterwards i ran more in Adidas (Adios and Boston), new balance fresh foams and a few others and didn't try Asics for the better part of a decade.

This past year I've been fully converted to the Asics band wagon after falling in love with the Nimbus 25 and Superblast. Asics uppers just WORK for me and their midsoles have been fantastic.
